I have been trusting Lachlan with a bowl on his tray but he likes to hold the bowl while trying to eat. He had once accident where the bowl fell out of his hands, but he's doing pretty well. He does still throw food down on purpose though. I though he dropped a couple of pieces on the floor by accident and when I bent down to pick them up, I felt another couple of pieces hit be on my back.
It's hard to be angry with someone who's so adorable isn't it?
