Arm Floaties

The kids also have new arm floaties. We don't mess around when it comes to pool safety.

Life Jackets

Lachlan has a new life jacket for the pool and Isabella has a built in one for her little wetsuit.

Happy Birthday To Me

Isabella drew a beautiful princess picture for me and my three favorite people brought me cake, a balloon and presents in bed.

Worst Idea Ever!!

This might look cute from the photos, but let me tell you, this was the worst idea ever! First of all, this is in the commissary, where we do our weekly shop. I am there for 60-90 minutes with the two of them in the cart. We only had to pick up 6 items so I thought I would let Isabella and Lachlan put the goodies in their carts. First, there were arguments over who was going to get granola bars and easter eggs in their carts. They don't even eat Easter Eggs! Secondly, it took us FORTY-FIVE minutes to buy 6 things because Lachlan walks at a snails pace and we had to keep waiting for him and we lost him a couple of times. Thirdly, I have sore ankles! There were kids everywhere pushing these things! We can never return to this commissary again!

Hole

Isabella told me she didn't want to step in that hole.

Abandoned Shells

Isabella found some abandoned shells on the rocks. Lachlan spent quite a bit of time telling me that waves were coming. "Oh no mummy, waves!"

Pebbles

Isabella and Lachlan threw some pebbles in the ocean.

Clam Rock

One of the volunteers brought over a clam rock to show Isabella.

Hold On

Lachlan just held on and tried to stay out of the ocean.

Looking

Isabella and Dan looked for sea animals we saw one crab, a small fish, lots of shells and heaps of sea anemones.

Slippery

It was a little bit slippery and tricky to walk over the rocks. There definitely needed to be two adults for every two children.

Rock Pools

We went to Point Loma and showed Isabella and Lachlan the rock pools for the first time.

We took some at the squadron, but then we forgot to take some more family photos.

Copying

I think Isabella was trying to copy him, but she just covered her ears instead.

Watching a Movie

Lachlan likes to chill out with his hands behind his head when he watches a movie.

Music Class

Isabella and Maddie are very happy to have Katie back at music class.
